The study of this large context can be considered to be the second object of study for digital humanities research. One way to structure this domain is to replace the relation between software and data (the focus of the first circle) in a network of relations between new entities including large-scale communities (MOOCs classrooms, Wikipedia contributors, etc.), collective discourses (Blogs, data journalism, wiki-style collaborative writing), ubiquitous software medium (auto-completion algorithm, search engine), and global actors (Google, Facebook, GLAM, Universities).
