Domain analysis provides a set of techniques for extracting and analyzing the semantic intellectual content of a coherent group. A major tool for knowledge organization, domain analysis has been successfully applied to such diverse domains as “musicianship” (Lam 2011), “gourmet cooking” (Hartel 2010), and “scientific computing” (Tanaka 2010).
